Bryon
Turkett, PA-C graduated with his Masters Degree
in Physician Assistant Studies in 1999 from the University of Nebraska Physician Assistant Program.
He completed his B.S. Degree in Healthcare Administration and
Education at National - Louis University in Tampa, FL in 1998, and
received his initial Physician Assistant training and degree from the Cook County
Hospital Physician Assistant Program in Chicago, IL.
Mr. Turkett is Board Certified by the
National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants. He
is currently serving as the Physician Assistant for the University
General and Trauma Surgery, P.C. with specific duties in Surgical Critical Care,
Trauma and first assisting in General and Trauma Surgery cases at the University of Tennessee Memorial Hospital in
Knoxville, Tennessee.
In 2003, (Captain) Turkett, Aeromedical
Physician Assistant in the U.S. Army Reserve, was deployed to Kuwait
during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was awarded the Bronze Star
Medal and Army Reserve Commendation Medal for his service in the
Kuwait Coalition Forces Aviation Taskforce.
