Brian J. Daley, MD, MBA, FACS, FCCP, CNSP
Dr. Brian James Daley, M.D. graduated with his medical degree in 1986 from the Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Daley completed his residency in general surgery in 1994. He received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in 1999. He also has advanced fellowship training from:

Todd A. Nickloes, DO, FACOS, FACS
Dr. Todd A. Nickloes earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993 from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. He completed both his Internship and his General Surgical Residency training at Ohio University. Dr. Nickloes completed his fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the University of Tennessee in 2000.
Dr. Nickloes is Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery and is also Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

Lou M. Smith, MD, FACS
Dr. Lou Mahala Smith graduated with her Doctor of Medicine in 1985 from the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama. She completed her Surgical Residency training at Louisiana State University Affiliated Hospitals. In 1995 she completed a Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Illinois and in 1998 completed a Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, TN.
Dr. Smith is Board Certified in Surgery and Critical Care. She is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dana A. Taylor, MD, FACS
Dr. Dana A. Taylor graduated with her Doctor of Medicine in 1998 from Ross University School of Medicine, Edison, New Jersey. She completed her General Surgery Residency training and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee.
Dr. Taylor is board certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Christy M. Lawson, MD
Dr. Christy Lawson graduated with her medical degree in 2005 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.
She completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN in 2010. She then completed a one year fellowship in Trauma Critical Care, also at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Dr. Lawson is a member of the Society for Critical Care Medicine, the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (East) and the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition.
